Both are dedicated surrender advocates. His daughter, Donna, is active in Machsom Watch (checkpoint watch) which harasses Israeli soldiers and polcemen checking Arabs and Arab vehicles for weapons and explosives--thereby making it easier for Arabs to infiltrate Israel.

Both of their sons have refused to serve as soldiers in the West Bank. One is in New York City and the other is in Paris studying French literature.
